After Care Instruction

· Keep bandage on for at least 2 hours

· Wash with a natural soap (ivory or antibacterial soap) and luke warm water after removing bandage and blot dry

· Apply a thin coat of A & D ointment 3 to 5 times a day

· Do not use Vaseline and do not rebandage tattoo

· Use ointment for 7-10 days

· Keep tattoo clean but do not soak in water (do not bathe or allow shower to beat directly on it, no hot water). Keep out of direct sunlight, salt, and chlorinated water for the next two weeks.

· If a crust or scab forms, use common sense, do not scratch or pick at it, let it naturally fall off. Use clothing/sunblock after healed to preserve its beauty. The better you take care of your tattoo, the better it will heal. Again, common sense.

· Consult a physician for any unexpected redness, tenderness, swelling, rash, or drainage at the site of the body art procedure. Also consult a physician if fever is present within 24 hours of the body art procedure.
